Job summary

Lime, the leading shared micromobility company, is hiring Operations Specialists in Los Angeles. In this role you will support daily operations by deploying and retrieving our fleet of electric vehicles and wearing multiple hats to keep operations running smoothly.

You will interact with the community, ensure safety, handle city requests, maintain vehicle cleanliness, assist with safety reviews at Lime events, and help with battery management and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver license and good driving record.
• Experience in a similar position and knowledge of the local geography.
• Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis.
• Knowledge of cell phone applications; iOS experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform quick repairs.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage daily tasks.
• Safety-oriented mindset with rigorous quality checks.
• Excellent communication with team, riders, and city officials.
• A waiver for the Dash Cam in Lime vehicles must be signed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van to deploy and retrieve Lime electric vehicles in the local market.
• Interact with the local community to assess risk and maintain safety.
• Address city requests related to stickers, reflectors, and minor issues.
• Maintain communication with the team, shift lead, and manager.
• Support Lime events including valet services, staging, and safety reviews.
• Assist with battery management documentation, safety measures, and quality checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles; rotate scooters and support warehouse flow.
• Monitor zones with on-foot patrols to ensure parking compliance and tidiness.
• Detect and report uncommon on-ground service or product issues.
• Occasionally assist customers in the field with Lime vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure rider safety.
• May operate a pallet jack or push cart as needed.
• Additional job-related tasks as assigned.
