Job summary

Lime is seeking an Operations Specialist in Tempe, AZ to support deployment and retrieval of our shared electric vehicles. You will navigate local geography, drive vans, and coordinate with city officials to maintain safety and compliance.

You will engage with communities, perform vehicle checks, assist at Lime events, and help with battery management and routine maintenance while working outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid in-state driver license and a clean driving record.
• Experience in a similar position with knowledge of the local geography.
• Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis.
• Knowledge of cell phone applications. iOS experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks.
• A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with team members, riders, and city officials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van for several hours a day to deploy and retrieve Lime vehicles.
• Interact with the local community to assess risk and maintain safety.
• Address and resolve city requests related to stickers, reflectors, etc.
• Maintain communication with team including peers, shift lead and manager.
• Support Lime events, valet services, staging and safety reviews, vehicle cleanliness.
• Support battery management operations with proper documentation and safety checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as brake adjustments and tire inflation.
• Monitor zones by on-foot patrols to ensure parking compliance and tidiness.
• Detect and report unusual on-ground service or product issues.
• Occasionally assist customers in the field with Lime vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure riders ride safely.
• May operate a pallet jack or push cart as needed.
• Additional job related tasks as assigned.
