Job summary

Lime is seeking an Operations Specialist in Seattle to support daily fleet deployment and retrieval of electric vehicles. You will safely operate a van, interact with the local community, and help ensure city requirements are met.

This contracted role, hosted by a third-party employer, emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong communication as you move scooters, conduct safety checks, and coordinate with the team across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with a valid in-state driver license and clean driving record.
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of local geography.
• Ability to operate a van and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs (35 kg) frequently.
• Familiarity with cell phone apps; iOS experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform quick repairs.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Safety-minded with ability to conduct quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van for deployment and retrieval of Lime vehicles.
• Interact with the local community and assess risks to safety.
• Address city requests related to stickers, reflectors, and other issues per SLAs.
• Maintain communication with the team (peers, shift lead, manager).
• Provide support at Lime events and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
• Support battery management and document safety measures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with wheel/brake tasks.
• Monitor zones on foot for parking compliance and tidiness.
• Report unusual on-ground service or product issues.
• Assist customers in the field as needed.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure rider safety.
