Job summary

Lime is recruiting an Operations Specialist to support deployment and retrieval of our shared electric vehicles in the local market. You will wear many roles to assist daily operations, safety, and community interactions.

In this role you will drive vans, coordinate with team members, perform basic maintenance, and aid in field tasks while upholding safety standards and Lime procedures. This is a contracted position with third-party employer involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and good driving record.
• Experience in a similar position with knowledge of the local geography.
• Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van for several hours a day to support deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles.
• Interact with the local community and assess risk to ensure safety.
• Address issues related to city requests as outlined by service level agreements.
• Maintain communication with the team and shift lead.
• Participate in Lime events including valet support and safety reviews.
• Support battery management operations with documentation and safety checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on vehicles.
• Monitor zones with on-foot patrols for parking compliance and tidiness.
• Detect and report uncommon field situations related to service and product.
• Assist customers in the field as needed.
• Follow safety procedures to keep riders on safe vehicles.
• May operate pallet jack or push cart as needed.
