Job summary

Via Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Field Operations Manager to run the on-site daily operations for our Transit-as-a-Service platform in Seattle.

This is a fully in-person role, requiring you to be onsite five days a week. You will leverage data to diagnose issues, drive improvements, and ensure safe, reliable, and accessible service for riders while building strong relationships with drivers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.
• Hands-on and proactive: comfortable in the field solving problems as they happen.
• Able to think both tactically and strategically to prevent issues.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily onsite operations of our service to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, and rider needs.
• Guide and support drivers, building trust and ensuring they are equipped to deliver great service.
• Turn rider and community feedback into tangible improvements with internal teams.
