Via is seeking an Operations Manager to run daily onsite operations, ensuring safe, reliable and accessible transportation for riders and drivers in the Montgomery area. This role demands hands-on leadership, field presence, and a deep understanding of fixed-route transit challenges.

The position emphasizes real-time decisions, driver support, and cross-team collaboration to translate feedback into tangible improvements while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management and operations.
• Background in logistics or service delivery.
• Customer-facing, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Run daily onsite operations to provide safe, reliable, accessible transportation.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, and rider needs.
• Support, guide and retain CDL drivers while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Turn rider feedback into actionable operational improvements with internal teams.
• Use data to diagnose issues and improve efficiency and rider experience.
• Coordinate as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers and Via teams.
