Job summary

Via is seeking a Transit Manager to lead daily onsite operations and ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders and communities. You will be on the ground, making quick, informed decisions about fleet and driver supply while collaborating with city partners and internal teams.

Based in Prescott, AZ, you will be on-site 4–5 days a week, building strong relationships with drivers and riders and using data to drive improvements in service and rider experience.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, or process-oriented work.
• Relationship oriented, able to earn trust from drivers, riders, teammates and city partners.
• Hands-on and proactive, in the field to solve problems where they happen.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily onsite operations to deliver safe, reliable transportation.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance and rider needs.
• Guide and support drivers, addressing concerns and equipping them to perform well.
• Turn rider and community feedback into tangible improvements and collaborate with teams.
• Use data and technology to understand service performance and implement solutions.
• Serve as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, and Via teams.
