WM (Waste Management) is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee who will onboard, develop, coach, and mentor drivers and helpers, spending most of the day in the field with frontline teams. You will build strong relationships, ensure safety, and drive performance while modeling the WM Way.

The role focuses on coaching conversations, root-cause investigations for injuries, and documenting regulatory records, with daily field visits to customers to address safety concerns and service options.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree (accredited) or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred completion of WM Operations Manager Trainee program.

Aufgaben

• Onboard, develop, coach, and mentor drivers and helpers, and manage frontline performance.
• Maintain positive relationships with frontline employees; spend most of the day in the field.
• Provide onboarding support with daily touchpoints and ongoing feedback.
• Review best practices to improve daily performance and productivity.
• Ensure safety and WM Way adherence; conduct root cause investigations for injuries.
• Document and maintain records for regulatory agencies; review route operation docs daily.
• Visit customers to assess safety and propose service alternatives.
