Job summary

WM is seeking a Senior Route Manager responsible for onboarding, developing, coaching, mentoring and performance management of drivers and helpers. The role spends most days in the field with frontline staff, ensuring tools, training and feedback for daily duties and safety compliance.

Key duties include establishing strong relationships with frontline teams, leading safety-focused practices, and maintaining regulatory documentation. The position emphasizes hands-on leadership and field presence.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or HS diploma with 2 years relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding new Route Managers and frontline employees.
• Provide tools, instruction, and feedback for successful daily duties.
• Meet daily with frontline employees to support onboarding and progress.
• Coach and mentor employees, focusing on safety and WM Way practices.
• Conduct root cause investigations and document regulatory records.
