WM (Waste Management) is seeking a field-oriented Operations Manager Trainee to onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage driver and helper performance. This role travels to front-line teams, building strong relationships to improve safety, productivity, and customer service.

You will lead onboarding, provide daily feedback, document DOT‑required records, conduct root-cause investigations, and champion the WM Way while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards across operations.

Formación

• Associate's Degree or HS Diploma with 2 years relevant work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Driver's License valid upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Onboard, develop, coach, and mentor drivers and helpers.
• Meet with new frontline employees daily for onboarding and support.
• Provide timely, consistent coaching touchpoints and feedback.
• Review daily safety and performance best practices.
• Lead safety focus and teach the WM Way.
• Conduct root cause investigations for injuries and incidents.
• Document and maintain DOT and regulatory records.
• Inspect and audit route operation documentation daily.
• Visit customer sites to identify safety improvements and service alternatives.
