Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in the United States is seeking a Patient Access Manager to be the field-based SPOC guiding providers, patients and caregivers through onboarding, coverage, and reimbursement pathways within the Oncology portfolio.

You will educate offices on payer rules, navigate prior authorizations, and coordinate with Specialty Pharmacy and back-office teams, while documenting activities in Salesforce Health Cloud and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, helping patients and providers navigate insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Navigation & Support: Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP office staff, providing approved information and education on oncology-specific care and program resources.
  • Access & Reimbursement: Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies for GSK Oncology products and assist with benefit investigation outcomes and prior authorizations.
  • Operational & Compliance: Document all interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud CRM, following SOPs and ensuring HIPAA privacy and data security.
