Job summary

SunSource is seeking an experienced OEM Account Manager to grow key OEM relationships across a defined territory. You will leverage mobile hydraulic and fluid power expertise to tailor engineered solutions, while developing new business through engineering and technical teams.

The role requires 2+ years in outside sales, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel, with engineering degree preferred. Join a leading North American provider of hydraulic solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience selling mobile hydraulics, fluid power, or engineered solutions to OEM manufacturers.
• Strong knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems and components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, fittings, etc.).
• Experience in technical sales, product application support, or engineered solutions.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel across the territory; valid driver’s license.
• Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage key OEM accounts while developing new business opportunities in the territory.
• Build relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams.
• Apply mobile hydraulic expertise to identify needs and recommend engineered solutions.
• Prospect for new business through visits, networking, referrals, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and technical teams to develop solutions.
• Manage territory activity, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM.
• Stay current on mobile hydraulic technologies and market trends.
