Job summary

SunSource is seeking an experienced OEM Account Manager to lead and grow key OEM relationships across Southeast Michigan. You will leverage mobile hydraulics expertise to identify needs and deliver engineered solutions, while coordinating with engineering and sales teams to win new business.

The role requires 2+ years of outside sales in mobile hydraulics or related fields, strong communication, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales in mobile hydraulics, or OEM sales.
• Strong knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems and components.
• Engineering or technical degree preferred.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow sales.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Fluid Power Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage key OEM accounts while developing new business opportunities throughout the territory.
• Build relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams to become a trusted fluid power partner.
• Apply mobile hydraulic expertise to identify customer needs and recommend engineered solutions.
• Prospect for new business through customer visits, networking, referrals, cold calling, and technical presentations.
• Partner with engineering, customer service, and technical teams to develop effective customer solutions.
• Manage territory activity, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM and other sales tools.
• Stay current on mobile hydraulic technologies, applications, and market trends.
