Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Operations Technician to support restoration activities, preventative maintenance, and installation across North America.

You will perform MACD tasks on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment, and support optical, electrical, voice and data services with OTDR testing. The role emphasizes trust with clients, best-in-class customer service, and hands-on fault diagnosis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling
• A positive, customer‑facing attitude with integrity and empathy in challenging situations
• Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective de‑escalation techniques
• Perform on‑site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack‑mounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor’s safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
