Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks a skilled Field Operations Technician to perform MACD installation, repair, configuration, and testing on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment across North America. You will install and test circuits, work with copper and fiber cabling, and ensure quality and safety in every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• A positive, "can-do" attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity
• Degree or diploma from a technical college would be preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working in the field independently and thriving in a dynamic environment
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highquality, customerfocused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective deescalation techniques
• Perform onsite installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rackmounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
