Axon is hiring a Mission Engineer II to work onsite with public safety agencies, turning operational challenges into technical solutions. You will embed with agencies, build dashboards and workflows, and drive adoption of Axon products.

Expect strong software skills, API and AI familiarity, and a commitment to CJIS compliance. Location is on-site at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, with a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Typically 3-5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Foundational software engineering capability and demonstrated ability to build technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of APIs, scripting/programming, data, testing, debugging, and modern development practices.
• Understanding of AI concepts and practical applications.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and onsite engagement.

Responsabilités

• Embed with agencies to understand mission, people, workflows, systems, and priorities.
• Develop knowledge of Axon ecosystem and products deployed at agencies.
• Translate customer problems into technical requirements and measurable criteria.
• Build applications, dashboards, workflows, and automations using Axon tools.
• Apply APIs, data structures, scripting, testing, debugging, and version control.
• Configure capabilities across Axon's technology ecosystem and engage cross-functionally.
• Move solutions from discovery to real customer use and measure adoption.
