Job summary

Axon seeks a Mission Engineer II to work directly with public safety agencies, turning operational challenges into working technical solutions. You'll spend time with end users, learn agency workflows, and apply Axon tools, AI, automation, and data to build impactful outcomes.

As the on-site technical resource, you will embed with agencies, coordinate deployments, and connect cross-functional Axon teams to address agency priorities while maintaining strong CJIS compliance and customer focus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in technical roles delivering engineering solutions.
• Strong API, scripting, data, testing, debugging skills.
• Experience with AI concepts and practical applications.
• Ability to obtain CJIS compliance and satisfy agency background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Embed with agencies to understand mission and workflows.
• Develop knowledge of Axon products deployed at the agency.
• Translate problems into technical requirements with measurable success criteria.
• Build applications, dashboards, and automations using Axon tools.
• Coordinate deployments and connect Axon teams around priorities.
• Document solutions for reuse and maintenance.
