Job summary

Axon is seeking a Mission Engineer II to work directly with public safety agencies, turning operational challenges into technical solutions. You will embed with agencies, understand workflows, and translate needs into concrete AI-enabled tools and platform integrations.

Location: Pinellas County, Florida, onsite five days a week. You’ll contribute to building applications, dashboards, and workflows that enhance mission effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5+ years of experience in technical roles such as solutions engineering, software engineering, systems, or implementation engineering.
• Foundational software engineering capability with demonstrated ability to build technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of APIs, scripting/programming, data, testing, debugging, and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Embed with assigned agencies to understand mission, workflows, and priorities.
• Translate customer problems into clear technical requirements and measurable success criteria.
• Build applications, dashboards, and workflows using Axon products and approved tools.
• Move solutions from discovery into real customer use and drive adoption.
