Job summary

Axon is seeking a Mission Engineer II to work onsite with public safety agencies, starting at Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. You will embed with the agency, understand workflows, and translate needs into technical requirements.

You will build applications, dashboards, and automations using Axon products while coordinating with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales to deliver value. You’ll drive adoption, measure outcomes, and continue improving solutions that create sustained operational

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in solutions engineering or a hands-on technical role.
• Foundational software engineering and ability to build technical solutions.
• Experience with APIs, scripting, data, testing, debugging, and modern practices.
• Interest in AI concepts and rapid learning of new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Embed with agencies to understand mission, workflows, and priorities.
• Translate problems into technical requirements and measurable success.
• Build apps, dashboards, and automations using Axon tools.
• Serve as onsite technical resource and coordinate across teams.
