Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate. This hunter/closer role targets small business owners, enrolling NFIB memberships while advising on advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., and state capitals.

Expect a hybrid schedule with in-field, face-to-face meetings across your local market. You’ll join a mission-driven team with paid training, full benefits, and an uncapped commission plan designed for top performers.

Qualifications

• Owns a track record of perseverance under pressure.
• Quick thinker who overcomes objections.
• Background in Sales or leadership is valued.
• Able to use digital sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver our five-minute sales presentation.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on how NFIB protects their rights in Washington, D.C., and your state capital.
