National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through face-to-face field engagement with small business owners. You will operate in a hybrid setup, field-first, with a performance-based pay structure including uncapped commissions.

This role emphasizes entrepreneurship, relationship-building, and a coach mentality to master a proven sales model while advocating NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face cold calls to meet small business owners.
• Master and deliver our 5-minute success-proven sales presentation.
• Close new members with an assumptive one-call close.
• Educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on NFIB protections in Washington, DC, and your state capital.
