Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow small-business membership in the Meadville area. This hunter/closer role blends field work with a proven sales model and uncapped commissions.

You’ll meet owners face-to-face, present a concise sales script, and enroll members while advocating for small business rights in Washington, D.C. and state capitals. Training is provided, benefits are full, and a self-directed schedule supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a business or leading a territory.
• Strong relationship-building with small business owners.
• Willingness to work in field-based sales.
• Ability to learn and apply a proven sales model.

Responsibilities

• Prospect in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• Present NFIB 5-minute sales presentation to potential members.
• Close sales and enroll new members while processing payments as needed.
• Educate owners on NFIB's advocacy for small business rights.
