Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership in the field, primarily in local markets. You’ll meet small business owners face-to-face, deliver a concise five-minute presentation, and enroll members with a one-call close.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face field sales experience or ownership/leadership background preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect and close sales with small business owners.
• Ability to learn and apply a structured sales process.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver a concise five-minute presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
