Job summary

NFIB seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate who will hit the ground in local markets to recruit small business members. You will spend roughly 95% of your time in the field, meeting owners, presenting NFIB’s value, and driving membership growth through a proven sales model.

The role is hunter/closer by design, with uncapped commission, full benefits, paid training, and a road-map to advance within a national advocacy organization focused on small business rights.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a business or running a territory with accountability for results.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face cold calls and build rapport with small business owners.
• Fast learner who thrives on mastering a proven, structured sales model.
• Experience in advocacy or B2B sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• Deliver NFIB's 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• Close new members and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB's advocacy in DC and state capitals.
