National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to meet small business owners in the field, outside of a fixed office. You’ll drive NFIB membership with a proven sales process, traveling locally to connect with owners and close deals.

You’ll join a mission-driven team with paid training, full benefits, and an uncapped commission/bonus plan. Ideal candidates are former business owners or leaders who value accountability and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Experiences in field sales or independent business ownership preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and closing skills are essential.
• Comfort with a structured sales process and ongoing learning.
• Ability to travel locally and meet small business owners in person.

Responsibilities

• Prospect in-person to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB's five-minute sales presentation with confidence.
• Close memberships and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy and protections in DC and state capitals.
