Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership in local markets. This Hunter/Closer role is primarily in the field with a hybrid setup, spending about 95% of time meeting small business owners to drive membership growth.

You will prospect, present, and close memberships face-to-face, earning uncapped commissions and a strong benefits package. This role emphasizes frontline advocacy and field success.

Qualifications

• Relational grit to conduct in-person cold calls and build rapport with small business owners.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver the 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
