Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to expand its membership by meeting small business owners in the field, largely in the local market. You will deliver NFIB’s proven sales presentation and close memberships, earning uncapped commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

This role is a Hunter/Closer position with a hybrid work model, travel in the field, and strong earning potential through commissions and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB's protections at the federal and state levels.
