Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through in-field outreach and face-to-face meetings with small business owners in your market. This role emphasizes an uncapped commission structure and a strong, structured sales process.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a concise, 5‑minute sales presentation.
• The Close: enroll new members and process payments on the spot using an assumptive close.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in federal and state governments.
