Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership through in-field, face-to-face engagement with small business owners. This hunter/closer role rewards performance with uncapped commissions and a strong training framework.

You will travel within your local market, meeting owners and presenting NFIB’s value proposition while advocating for small business interests in DC and state capitals.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial track record or ownership experience is valued.
• Ability to cold-call and build rapport face-to-face with small business owners.
• Willingness to learn and apply a proven, structured sales model.
• Commitment to advocating for small business interests.

Responsibilities

• Prospect in-person with small business owners to grow NFIB membership.
• Master and deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation.
• Close new members and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy in Washington, D.C. and state capitals.
