Job summary

BD is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for a field-based role across multiple territory locations in the US, including Great Lakes and Northeast regions. The position emphasizes strategic medical engagements with KOLs and surgeons in plastic and reconstructive surgery while ensuring regulatory and ethical standards.

Travel is extensive (60-80%), with a need to live within the territory. The candidate should have an advance scientific or clinical degree and 3–5 years of

Qualifications

• Advance Scientific or Clinical Degree preferred (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, RN).
• 3–5 years of either field-based MSL experience and/or clinical plastic surgery work experience.
• Plastic and reconstructive surgery experience is a must- industry or clinical background in plastic surgery.
• Strong expertise in medical affairs, KOL engagement, and the clinical/regulatory landscape specific to surgical innovation.
• Demonstrated record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to analyze stakeholder networks and tailor communications to varying audiences.
• Outstanding presentation, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Align on medical strategy and key objectives with cross-functional partners.
• Identify, segment, and map all relevant stakeholders including KOLs and HCPs.
• Gather and analyze data on stakeholder backgrounds to prioritize engagement.
• Develop personalized engagement plans for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Design and execute coordinated objectives for each audience segment.
