Job summary

BD is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison with expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery to advance medical strategy and stakeholder engagement across the US regional territories. The role requires collaboration with medical, clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams to deliver scientific value while maintaining compliance.

The candidate should have an advanced scientific or clinical degree and 3–5 years of field-based MSL or clinical plastics experience, with strong presentation

Qualifications

• Advance Scientific or Clinical Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in field-based MSL or plastic surgery experience.
• Strong medical affairs, KOL engagement, and regulatory knowledge.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-network analysis.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical and pre-clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Align medical strategy with cross-functional partners (medical, clinical, marketing, regulatory, R&D).
• Identify and map stakeholders (KOLs, surgeons, payers, patient groups).
• Gather and analyze stakeholder data to prioritize engagement.
• Develop engagement plans for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Design outcomes for each audience segment and track engagement benchmarks.
• Use in-person/virtual KOL meetings, advisory boards, and congresses.
