Job summary

BD is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to cover the Great Lakes and surrounding regions in the United States. You will align medical strategy with cross-functional teams, identify stakeholders including plastic surgeons and payers, and develop engagement plans that advance plastics and reconstructive surgery therapeutics.

The role requires an advanced scientific or clinical degree and 3–5 years of MSL or clinical plastic surgery experience, with up to 60–80% travel.

Qualifications

• Advance Scientific or Clinical Degree preferred (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, RN).
• 3-5 years of either field-based MSL experience and/or clinical plastic surgery work experience.

Responsibilities

• Align on medical strategy and key objectives with cross-functional partners.
• Identify, segment, and map stakeholders including KOLs, surgeons, HCPs, payers, patient groups and internal influencers.
• Gather and analyze data on stakeholder backgrounds to prioritize engagement.
• Develop personalized engagement plans reflecting stakeholder needs and organizational goals.
• Design and execute coordinated objectives for each audience segment with defined outcomes.
• Deploy proactive and reactive engagement tactics across in-person, virtual, and research channels.
• Document insights from stakeholder interactions to refine medical strategy.
