Job summary

Terracon in Washington state seeks a Field Testing Technician to perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. Role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Valid driver’s license often required; NICET/ACI certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials is preferred.
• Proficiency using Word and Excel and strong data/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
• Communicate findings with project managers, clients, and site personnel.
• Transport samples to the laboratory with proper documentation.
• Prepare and submit written and digital reports; maintain equipment and safety standards.
