Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab testing technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at construction sites. You will communicate findings to the project manager and prepare written and digital reports for daily transmission.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3–5 years' experience, and proficiency with Excel and a laptop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with laptop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Comfortable working at heights and on elevated platforms.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs field testing, observation, and inspection as directed.
• Communicates findings and results clearly to the Project Manager.
• Performs basic data analysis to verify accuracy before submission.
• Submits field reports and photographs to Terracon Project Manager.
• Maintains equipment and calibration; adheres to safety standards.
• May train or lead other technicians on projects.
