Job summary

Terracon is seeking personnel for field and laboratory materials testing, inspection, and observation across soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will relay results to the Project Manager, transport samples, and maintain safety standards on site.

The role requires high school diploma, 3–5 years of experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel; a valid driver's license may be required. NICET/ICC/AWS/ASNT certifications are preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of relevant field experience or training.
• Experience with laptop use and MS Word/Excel.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed per procedures.
• Documents findings clearly for Project Manager.
• Performs basic data analysis to verify accuracy before submission.
• Communicates results to PM and team.
• May train lower level technicians and lead field/lab activities.
• Maintains equipment and calibration; ensures safety compliance.
