Job summary

Terracon is seeking a materials testing technician to perform field and laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will document findings, prepare reports, and support project teams on site.

Responsibilities include data analysis, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required, with NICET/ICC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or training.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Experience using Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Transport samples to the laboratory and prepare reports.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate results to Project Manager and team.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians.
