Job summary

Sazerac is hiring a Market Development Representative in Dayton, OH to drive growth across our on-premise and off-premise channels. You’ll craft growth solutions, build brand momentum, and lead distributors through in-store execution to hit volume targets.

You’ll use sales analytics to inform decisions, develop strategic programs, and foster strong relationships with customers. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; internships considered.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Live in or near the territory; ability to cover business expenses as needed.
• Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Develop programs to support distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Build mutual rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Act as communication link between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
