Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive volume and distribution for our diverse spirits portfolio across key off-premise locations. You will lead growth initiatives, educate customers on trends, and coordinate with distributors to execute in-store programs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in field sales within alcohol/CPG, a valid driver's license, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Technical Savvy: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive sales and identify market trends.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be promptly reimbursed.
• Compliance: Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs delivering distribution, merchandising, display, and promotional goals.
• Build rapport with customers by understanding their needs and providing value.
• Coordinate communication between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.”
