Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth for our diverse spirits brands in a designated territory. You will partner with on-premise locations to achieve volume and distribution goals, identifying opportunities to connect consumers with favorite brands.

As part of the commercial team, you will craft solutions for growth, lead distributors, and monitor KPIs while collaborating with internal teams. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; internships or part-time sales roles for new grads accepted.
• Proven track record of achieving volume and distribution goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results; valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost brand presence and market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Aim to meet volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Plan and execute programs for distribution, merchandising, and retail promotions.
• Build rapport with customers by understanding their needs and requirements.
• Serve as the communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
