Job summary

Sazerac is hiring a Market Development Representative to be a key partner for off-premise locations, driving volume and distribution for our brands. You will craft growth strategies, lead distributor efforts, and build strong customer relationships across your assigned territory.

You will use sales analytics to identify trends, educate retailers, and execute programs that boost in-store performance and brand presence. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Data-driven with ability to use sales analytics to drive results.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Location: live in or near the territory.
• Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be reimbursed.
• Compliant: able to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

• Craft Solutions for Growth: Implement and manage innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, ensuring Sazerac brands soar in market share.
• Brand Building: Use consumer and category trends to educate customers and drive sales.
• Distribution: Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Volume Objectives: Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in our portfolio.
• Strategic Programs: Implement programs that improve distribution, merchandising, and retail promotions.
• Rapport Building: Develop mutually valuable rapport with customers by understanding their needs.
• Communication & Collaboration: Serve as the communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• KPI Monitoring: Track KPIs to ensure goals are met.
