Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative (MDR) for off-premise accounts in the Metairie, LA region. You will drive growth by expanding distribution, building brands, and leading in-store initiatives across grocery, convenience, and liquor stores.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent, 1 year of relevant sales experience, and a valid driver's license. Travel, nights/weekends, and local territory residence are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of related professional experience, or a sales internship for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Craft Solutions for Growth: implement and manage solutions to boost business for assigned accounts.
• Brand Building: use trends to educate customers and increase sales.
• Distribution: lead distributors with in-store selling and account execution.
• Volume Objectives: assist in achieving volume goals for core brands.
• Strategic Programs: execute programs for distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Rapport Building: develop mutually valuable relationships with customers.
• Communication & Collaboration: serve as the liaison between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• KPI Monitoring: track KPIs to ensure goals are met.

Skills
