Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across communities. You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs, manage inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance, including EPA/OSHA standards. Regular on-site presence and on-call coverage are required to keep properties in top condition.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, EPA/CPO certification, and basic computer skills. HVAC credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management: oversee maintenance operations and staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for common areas and units.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily for hazards.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community.
• Promote safe work practices per OSHA; maintain records and comply with EPA standards.
• Supervise maintenance staff; provide training and direction.
• Manage on-call emergencies at the community.
• Plan resource use; obtain bids and manage vendor relations.
• Ensure make-ready process and work orders are completed timely.
