Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities for an assigned geography, executing strategies to ensure a successful launch and meaningful patient impact.

Responsibilities include engaging LTC care teams, building robust territory plans, and navigating payer policies while maintaining compliant, ethical product promotion. Requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales and LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance is preferred.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across the LTC ecosystem.
• Develop territory business plan with account plans for targeted LTC facilities.
