Job summary

AMG Tech Support is hiring hands-on IT and telecom technicians to support a national client base. Duties include OS installs, hardware diagnostics, and structured cabling across diverse environments from retail to corporate.

On-site, 1099 contractor role with travel pay and app-based time tracking. Tools and reliable transport required; on-call 24/7 availability is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Hands-on I.T./Telecom work with field tasks.
• Certifications or 5+ years of field experience required.
• Willingness to travel within territory (80-mile radius) and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling work including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be ready to respond to service requests.
