Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. Duties include OS installs, hardware diagnostics, and software setup in diverse environments, with field cabling and telecom work as needed.

This field role requires reliability, the ability to travel, and the willingness to be on call. 1099 contractor position with pay on site and travel compensation.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ or Network+ certification, OR 5+ years verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling and telecom tasks (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call within your territory.
