Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks—installing operating systems, running structured cabling, and performing telecom work across diverse environments.

You will be on call and travel within your territory, using your own tools and vehicle. A 1099 contractor position offers on-site pay and opportunities to grow with new technologies and clients.

Qualifications

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup required.
• Structured cabling experience including installing, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of technical tasks including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables) and telecom work.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call within territory.
