Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, with responsibilities ranging from OS installations to structured cabling and on-site maintenance.

You will work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, be on call, and travel within a defined territory. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and standard toolset are required; 1099 contractor status plus travel pay are

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT or Telecom experience required.
• One of the following certifications: A+, Network+; or 5+ years of verifiable field IT/Telecom experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work including punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within territory.
