Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T. or Telecom technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across various environments.

You will be on-call and travel within your territory, with a 1099 contractor arrangement and on-site compensation. The company offers exposure to new technologies and client projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Hands-on I.T. or Telecom experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Must own a standard set of IT and networking tools.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call within territory.
