Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our growing nationwide client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, with duties spanning OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across various environments.

Travel within the territory is expected; you must have a reliable vehicle and be on-call. This 1099 contractor position offers on-site paid hourly work and exposure to new technologies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience.
• One of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
