Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support a national client base. The role involves field work beyond desk tasks, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom activities across multiple site environments.

Applicants should have 1 year IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years in the field, plus either A+ or Network+ certification. On-site travel and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• 1 year IT/ Telecom experience; one of: A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience.
• On-site field work and disciplined professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
